New York Paradise?

I am a citizen of the world, I'm unable to call one place home but there is one thing I can be certain, and that's the fact that I was born a New Yorker. New York is known for its grittiness and it's shall we say personality. People yelling and hustling everywhere, noise disseminating from every corner, window, and person, tourists looking aimlessly into the sky, and of course cab drivers wrecking havoc on the New York city streets. If you lose any of these elements, it just doesn't feel like New York. Having Times Square devoid of cars, is definitely one of those elements. Although, I like the european element of the idea.
